Changelog & maintenance

Updates

Major Void is actively maintained. We test the games, review puzzle quality, fix bad clues and edge cases, and keep improving how the site works behind the scenes.

Current status: Major Void is live and being actively monitored. If a puzzle has more than one reasonable answer, a broken clue, or a technical problem, we want to fix it rather than leave it in rotation.

PAN EDH joins the Major Void project family

Live

Major Void is expanding beyond the arcade. PAN EDH, our Commander deck analyzer, is now presented as a Major Void project alongside the game collection and Corroborate. The new Projects page provides one place to follow the tools, games, and experiments we are actively building.

Three of Six moved to the Major Void puzzle service

Live

Three of Six is now served through Major Void's server-side puzzle system. The browser receives the six words needed to play, while puzzle answers, hidden connections, explanations, and selection logic remain on the server.

  • 365 validated puzzles are available to the service.
  • Random and daily puzzle modes are supported.
  • Correct-answer checking now happens server-side.

Three of Six ambiguity fixed

Fixed

We corrected a puzzle where CAST unintentionally worked with DOWN as “downcast,” creating an extra valid answer. CAST was replaced so the puzzle again has one intended three-word solution.

Building

Three of Six is the first Major Void game to move hidden puzzle content and answer logic off the public page. We plan to apply the same pattern where it improves puzzle integrity and makes sense for the other games.

Found something off? Puzzle games depend on clean rules. We take ambiguity seriously and will continue reviewing the puzzle banks as real players find edge cases we missed.
